Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains how we process your personal data when you shop with SK Beauty — what we collect, why, and the rights you hold. We value your personal privacy and do not collect more information than necessary to process your order. We never sell or pass on your information to third parties without a legal basis.

The following is a summary of how we, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), store and process your data. The website is not directed at persons under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data about children. For our use of cookies, see our Cookie Policy.

Personal data is any information that can be attributed, directly or indirectly, to a natural person.

To handle your order and answer questions related to it, we store your first and last name, address, telephone number, email address, IP address, and purchase history. Your data is stored for as long as we have a legal basis — for example, to fulfil the agreement or to comply with the Bookkeeping Act. Order and payment records are kept for seven years in accordance with the Swedish Bookkeeping Act; newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

In connection with a purchase, your personal data is processed in order to fulfil the agreement with you. Marketing, promotions, and similar mailings are carried out subject to your consent.

Purchases are completed through Shopify's checkout. Depending on the payment method you choose, your first name, last name, address, email address, and telephone number are shared with our payment provider Klarna or processed by Shopify's card payment service. If you pay by invoice through Klarna, your personal identity number (personnummer) is also processed. The information is processed to complete the purchase and to protect both parties against fraud. If you pay with a digital wallet such as Apple Pay, Google Pay or Shop Pay, the wallet provider also processes your payment details in accordance with its own privacy notice.

Klarna is independently responsible for its own processing, including any credit assessment for invoice payments; see Klarna’s privacy notice. If you pay with Swish, your payment is processed by Swish and your bank.

For delivery, your first name, last name, and address details are shared with the shipping company. Email and/or mobile number may be shared for delivery notifications. Our shipping company is PostNord.

If you subscribe, your first name, last name, and email address are shared with our newsletter provider. We use Flodesk to send the newsletter.

We use Shopify’s analytics, Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the website is used. Microsoft Clarity records anonymised interactions — cursor movement, clicks and scrolling — to produce heatmaps and session replays. Payment details are never captured. Analytics cookies are set only with your consent — see our Cookie Policy.

Some of our providers — for example Shopify, Flodesk and Microsoft — process data in countries outside the EU/EEA, such as the United States. Where this happens, we ensure the safeguards the GDPR requires are in place, such as an adequacy decision, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or standard contractual clauses.

You have the right to obtain an extract of all the information we hold about you, delivered electronically in a readable format.

You have the right to ask us to update incorrect information or complete information that is incomplete.

You may at any time request that the data relating to you be erased. There are few exceptions — for example, if the data must be retained to fulfil a legal obligation (such as under the Bookkeeping Act).

You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your data, and to object to processing — including, at any time, to direct marketing. Where processing rests on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

You have the right to receive the data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, and to have it transferred to another provider where technically feasible.

If you believe we process your personal data incorrectly, you may lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten), imy.se.
